How we rank offers
Short and plain: what we compare, what counts as eligible, and what never affects the order.
What we compare
We compare offers for the same product, matched by the product's identifier (such as its barcode number, GTIN) when it is available. Offers we can't confidently match stay separate.
The total
Total = item price + shipping + fees, as listed in the offer data. The store may change it at checkout, so always check before you pay.
“Lowest eligible total”
The lowest total among offers that are eligible. An offer is eligible when it is in stock, comes from an approved source, and is not flagged by our unusual-price check.
Unusual-price warnings
Each category has its own threshold, because normal discounts differ (a fragrance and a laptop are not alike). An offer priced far below the usual range is flagged and is not ranked as the best, because very low prices can signal a problem such as a fake product or a different version.
Trust information
We show seller, warranty and returns information when available and say “not verified” when it isn't. A store's name or logo does not prove it is the actual seller, and a correct category does not mean the source is approved.
What never affects the order
Commissions. When we have affiliate partners, we will disclose it, and the order will still follow the rules above.
“Best for me”
It applies your budget and priorities, still among eligible offers. It is a filter on your preferences, not a quality verdict.
Demo data
In early access, prices and offers are demo data and are labelled as such.
